Gustavo's Story
Gustavo and his family are from Chiapas. His brother left home when he was very young and was never heard from again. More than twenty years passed until they found him through a Facebook post. He had been in an accident and was admitted to the General Hospital in Ensenada. Gustavo came to Ensenada to take him home. But when he arrived, he found his brother in critical condition and only had the chance to see him twice before he passed away.
Throughout this process, Gustavo stayed at Casa de Misericordia. Not only did he have a place to rest and eat, but he also received the support of Pastor Francisco and his wife Elizabeth for his brother's funeral procedures. Gustavo was able to take his brother home but not in the way he expected. Despite the circumstances, he left with peace in his heart because he finally found his brother.
