Abuelo Valeriano
Valeriano Fiesco Luna grew up in Mexico City. He worked in construction his whole life. Through work, he was able to travel to various parts of Mexico. Some of his favorite places include Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Tijuana. But when he came to Ensenada, he liked it so much he decided to stay.
Abuelo Valeriano never married or had children. He spent his years working, watching sports, and boxing when he was younger. He still wishes he had trained professionally but he never had the time or money to do it.
Since arriving at Casa del Abuelo, his health and mobility have improved but Abuelo Valeriano says that what is most important is that his self esteem has also improved. He is so grateful for the quality care he receives from Pastor Nicolas and Angelica. His hope is for his health to continue to improve so that he can help out in the ministry.
Adopt an Abuelo
Casa del Abuelo cares for more than 20 abuelos at a time. They operate entirely on donations to cover expenses for water, propane, gas, food, transportation, and medicine. For $50 a month you can help provide these essential items for an abuelo.
